ARMENPAC - The Armenian American Political Action Committee

ARMENPAC, The Armenian-American Political Action Committee, is an independent, bipartisan political action committee with a nationwide membership. ARMENPAC raises awareness of, and advocates for, federal candidates that support policies that help create peace, security and stability in the Caucasus region. ARMENPAC is successful because it fosters the active participation of the Armenian-American community in the United States political system. ARMENPAC’s goal is to complement the public affairs efforts of the Armenian-American community by providing financial support directly to, and/or endorsing candidates for federal office that share our philosophy and understand issues of importance to Armenian-Americans.

ARMENPAC’s success in helping change who has influence in politics is directly related to the size and grassroots activism of its membership. ARMENPAC, by law, is permitted to make political campaign contributions in greater amounts than individuals, and therefore unifies the Armenian-American community’s voice in support of candidates that champion Armenian-American issues. Contributions to ARMENPAC, big or small, demonstrate Armenian-American’s grassroots support of federal candidates that are willing to fight for Armenian-American interests. ARMENPAC is not a lobbying organization and it is essential under federal law to separate lobbying from political contributions.
ARMENPAC’s success is achieved because it:

builds a bipartisan majority for Armenian-American issues in the United States Congress through its educational and outreach efforts;
increases awareness of issues of importance to Armenian-Americans throughout the United States;
provides financial support to, and raises funds throughout the United States in support of, candidates that champion Armenian-American issues, and;
encourages Armenian-Americans to be actively engaged in the United States political system.

ARMENPAC executes nationwide fundraising, voter registration, and grassroots advocacy initiatives within the Armenian-American community. ARMENPAC, through its website, is a resource that provides objective information on issues of importance to the Armenian-American community. ARMENPAC believes it is important to be the repository of every federal candidate’s position regarding United States policy toward the Republic of Armenia, the Genocide Resolution and other pertinent issues that impact our community.
